Transaction Security Policy

1. Purpose 

This Transaction Security Policy explains the measures and responsibilities used to support secure online payments and protect transaction information on Female Astrology. 

2. Payment Processing 

Card and other payment credentials are entered into the checkout/payment environment provided by authorized payment providers. Female Astrology does not ask customers to send full card numbers, expiration dates, card security codes or online-banking credentials through email or the Support form, and does not independently store complete card credentials. 

3. Secure Transmission and Provider Controls 

The website and enabled payment services use security controls provided by Shopify and the relevant payment provider. Depending on the payment method and transaction, provider controls may include encrypted transmission, tokenization, card-network security requirements, 3-D Secure/authentication, fraud screening and other measures. Female Astrology does not claim independent PCI certification unless such certification has actually been obtained. 

4. Recurring Payment Security 

For Monthly Horoscope subscriptions, the customer authorizes the recurring arrangement during the initial purchase. Future charges are processed through the supported subscription/recurring system using provider-side payment credentials or tokens rather than Female Astrology storing raw card data. 

5. Fraud and Suspicious Transactions 

Transactions may be declined, delayed, cancelled or reviewed where the payment provider, acquiring bank, card network or Female Astrology reasonably identifies a fraud, security, authorization, duplicate-payment or compliance risk. A declined or failed payment does not create paid access. 

6. Customer Account Security 

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and should contact Support if they believe an account or payment has been used without authorization. We may request reasonable verification before changing account details or acting on sensitive requests. 

7. Incident Handling and Contact 

If we become aware of a security incident affecting personal or transaction information, we will investigate and take appropriate steps consistent with applicable law, processor requirements and the nature of the incident. Security concerns may be reported to contact@femaleastrology.com.
